Welcome to Trail Rippers (“we”, “us”, “our”). By registering for our programs or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility & Registration
Trail Rippers provides mountain bike coaching programs for children and youth.

Participants must be registered by a parent or legal guardian if under 18 years of age.

All registration information must be accurate and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel registration if information is inaccurate, incomplete, or if safety concerns arise.
Registration is not confirmed until payment is received and all required waivers and consent forms are completed.
2. Assumption of Risk
Mountain biking is an inherently risky activity that includes, but is not limited to:

Falls and collisions
-
Changing trail conditions
-
Uneven terrain
-
Mechanical failure
-
Weather-related hazards
By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept that participation involves inherent risks of injury.
All participants must have a signed waiver prior to participation.
3. Equipment Requirements
Participants must provide:

A properly functioning mountain bike
-
An approved helmet (mandatory)
-
Appropriate footwear
-
Weather-appropriate clothing
-
Water and any required medications
Trail Rippers reserves the right to refuse participation if equipment is deemed unsafe.
4. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to:

Follow coach instructions at all times
-
Ride within their ability level
-
Treat coaches and other riders respectfully
-
Follow trail etiquette and safety rules
We reserve the right to remove a participant from a session or program without refund if behaviour compromises safety or disrupts the group experience.
5. Weather & Cancellations
Programs may proceed in light rain. However, sessions may be cancelled or modified due to:

Severe weather
-
Unsafe trail conditions
-
Air quality concerns
-
Unforeseen circumstances
If a session is cancelled by Trail Rippers, we may:

Offer a make-up session
-
Provide a credit toward a future program
-
Provide a partial refund (at our discretion)
We are not responsible for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to the following:

Cancellations made before the program start date may be eligible for a partial refund (administration fees may apply).

No refunds will be issued once a program has started, except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

Missed sessions due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal reasons are non-refundable.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [Insert Email Address].
7. Medical Information & Emergencies
Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or special considerations relevant to participation.
In the event of an emergency:

Trail Rippers staff may administer basic first aid.

Emergency medical services may be contacted if necessary.

Parents/guardians are responsible for any resulting medical costs.
8. Photo & Media Use
Participation in Trail Rippers programs may involve photography or video recording.
Use of identifiable images will only occur with parental/guardian consent, as outlined in our Privacy Policy and media consent forms.
Parents may withdraw media consent in writing at any time for future use.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trail Rippers, its owners, coaches, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for:

Injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation

Loss or damage to personal property
-
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Participation is at the participant’s own risk, subject to signed waivers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited under British Columbia law.
10. Website Use
All website content, including text, logos, branding, and program materials, is the property of Trail Rippers and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website access.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
12. Changes to Terms
Trail Rippers reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised effective date.
Continued participation or use of our website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
