Umbrella organization formed by local bike, ski, and resort groups. Builds and maintains majority of Fernie's trail network (Mt Fernie, Mt Proctor, Morrissey, Heiko's, CONTRA). Issues trail passes for maintenance funding.
Local trail associations run almost entirely on grants, membership fees, volunteer sweat, and donations. Whether it's raw materials or a few bucks from riders like you, it all adds up — roughly $16 per meter of trail to build from scratch. If you've enjoyed riding in this area, consider throwing a few dollars their way.
