Officially, this trail is listed as green on Trailforks: in our view, this is closer to a blue and NOT kids friendly (at least not for true beginners). The trail has challenging and technical up and down sections with some exposure being so close to the river. Our 6yr (20” bike) managed ok, with pushing the bike in some sections.

Kaslo River South is a 395 m popular green difficulty singletrack trail located near Kaslo British Columbia. This mountain bike only trail can be used both directions and has a easy overall physical rating. Trail visibility is always easy to follow. On average it takes 6 minutes to complete this trail.
