TrailRipper's Take
This area is one of the most family-complete destinations in the Kootenays β you can ride trails, hit the hot springs, cycle the Legacy Trail along the lake, and be at the entrance to a national park, all in the same trip. The CVCS has done solid work building out the local network. If you're doing a Kootenays family road trip, the Invermere/Radium corridor deserves a night or two on the itinerary.
